EPC/Medicare - eligibility/referral is determined by your GP and paperwork must be received prior to the first visit.
The full consultation cost is charged upfront, with the rebate self processed as per your fund. If on a GP Plan, the Medicare rebate of $53.80 (at at July 2019) goes towards the cost of your appointment, leaving a gap amount that you will cover. eg the out of pocket cost for your first appointment may be $120 - $53.80 = $66.20
